activeviii
I have a couple of pairs of binoculars i thinking about selling/swapping. one pair is swarovski slc 8x30wb not the most expensive pair in the catalogue but still very good glasses. i know they are no longer made but all production come to and end i guess. what I'm asking is what sort of money would be about right. I have a pair of Zeiss 10x40b's as well but their are well battered about. showing their age a guess you might say but still a very good image with them. i might just keep these unless someone thinks they might be worth selling as i wouldn't let them go cheap. just for the sake of it if you know what i mean. so if i was to put them and the swaro's up for sale what sort of money we be fair. I dont like asking these sort of questions but i really dont know. thanks for any input you can offer gents. regards Phil.
al4x
well sportsman are still selling them at £790 but they do always make good money second hand so I guess its a figure you are happy with. At a guess I'd try them at £500 to £600 if they are in good nick. One thing not to discount is ebay, decent glass seems to sell very well on there though the fees are high. activeviii
its the fee's on eblag that bug me though. you pay to list, then a cut for selling and then paypal ontop. all to eblagers. so IF i do sell on there what will one lose on £500 to them? Brad93
Don't go through PayPal see if the person can collect or send you a bankers draft or cheque. It costs £1.30 to list an item if its starting price is over £100 Final value fee is 10% but cannot exceed £40 So if you sell for £500 it's gonna cost you £41.

Phil. looking at it new pairs on there seem to be close to £900 so you may be surprised what a decent second hand pair makes
