POLICE, ABOVE THE LAW

My FAC has now just run out.

 

The law states that i must remove my guns & have them stored at a Gun shop/Dealer who is licenced to hold them for Me.

 

I phoned the chief Firearms Officer last week & asked if my Renewal would arrive before the end of the week because if not i would have to make arrangements for my rifles.

 

I was told that i would be getting my renewal but he didn't know when, he also said that it would be unfair to ask Me to remove my rifles so it was OK to keep them locked up in my cabinet. But this is against the law.

 

I told him that i use these rifles to earn my income, i was then told that i can't use them untill my renewal comes through. :<

 

I had the visit done over a month ago by the FLO all paper work was done before this, its just that they are a bit behind.

 

Looks like the bills aint going to get paid for a while.

 

Just gets my goat, in one breath they say to break the law the next i cant.

I might even get my renewal by return of post.

 

But then again i might get a knock at the door to see if i've put the Guns in storage.

i said to flo if my licence dont come in time will i still be able to keep my guns,he said yes but it did come in time so ok.

if the delay is a fault of the police (addmiting that they are behind is an addmision) tell them to issue a tempary certificate asap,... they will send one so you can go about your job
