steve3562
hello everyone i am doing this thread because i am feeling bad about a problem which has accoured in a bsa lightning xl of a recend member to pw. he had the rifle around 2-3 months then it developed a slight crack in the side we both thought no biggy = new stock ordered one direct from BSA 21 quid a month later it cracked again.omg! now the trigger has gone and he is left with a 280quid set from target sports which they wont be reliable for the stock. he has given up on the idea of it and now wants a new gun does anyone have a decent 22 rifle liing around in good con. and the power is consistant.if not anyone know where i can pick one up for around 100-150 if so pm me please. thanks a bundle steve Edited April 18, 2006 by steve3562
Lord Geordie
Stock cracking and trigger going breasts up sounds to me like the spring is too powerful for it The whack it will produce when the piston hits the top of the chamber will most likely be whats caused the damage to the stocks and it sounds like the spring guide may be the prob with the trigger? I'll give him £30 plus £10 to post the Lightning LG Edited April 18, 2006 by Lord Geordie
roblade
HI Steve, there is a club member who is selling a tatty old TX200 MK2 (not the one i sold, this one is slightly better condition) he is asking for 100 but would need 20 for delivery (special delivery, next day and insured). If your interestead i can find out if he still has it. I was thinking about getting it from him for myself but im sort of hanging on for another deal in the pipeline at the moment. bu as i said before due to your age i would have to deal with either your parents or his parents. Mungler
Got a Crossman ratcatcher on top of my wardrobe gathering dust. http://www.airpistol.co.uk/crosman_ratcher.htm It is probably a bit low on power for you. I couldn't have put more than a tin of pellets through it.

Mungler
Dunno. Was going to ebay it but am not allowed. Has standard scope and mounts and I have about 20 gas cartridges, targets and bits and bobs to go with it. It's not doing anything on my wardrobe and I now need to convert it into shotgun cartridges. Wait for the photos and make me an offer.
