Finding Charlie

I've been out this evening looking for signs of a fox which I know is around, but rarely seen. I've taken some pictures to try and illustrate what I'm saying.

I started of by looking at any damp patches of ground that could hold a pad print, unfortunately, this one only had Muntjac slots on it.

I then proceded to check varies runs to see if they were still in use.

I then had a look around the undergrowth to see if charlie had left any fur as he had gone past.

I was smelling the air as I was walking around, trying to pick up on any odours that charlie had left, but to no avail.

And then I came across them...... a couple of signs that I had very nearly missed!

Sorry fella's, just having one of those days! ;);)

To be honest, I picked up a whiff of charlie while I was taking those photo's and found some pads. I then sat in a high seat, and this was the result. I'd been after this one for a long time.
