M.I.A
As the title really, anyone used JSB predator polymags before in .177? Ive seen mixed reviews on the web but they all seem to be pointed at the .22's thanks
M.I.A
Just an update i have ordered a few tins of these and on the front of it they seem good. i have done a quick 5 shot group in the garden and they group ok. Not as good as some but acceptable. Im going to take them and try them out at range at the weekend. I will post my findings in case anyone else wants to know how they perform. Catweazle
they group ok. Not as good as some but acceptable. With air rifles it's all about accuracy. Find the most accurate pellet for your rifle and place them in the killzone and you'll have a dead critter. Place a "polymag" or any other gimmick pellet in the wrong place and the critter will run away.
M.I.A
Im too find this out as my garden is only around 15 yards, there all touching but JSB Exacts give a one hole group. When i can test it at 35 yards i will post back my findings. If there not up to standard then they shall remain in my pellet box.

I still have an almost full box of Prometheus pellets, bought in my youth. A few years ago, re-living my early shooting days, I bought an immaculate 1979 Original Model 45, it came with an almost full box of Prometheus too
terrior
Hello I bought some polymags in .177 to try in my daystate as they look the biz, i usually use daystate li's which are spot on, but polymags are not worth the frustration. they don't sit well in the magazine and accuracy goes from cloverleaf with li's to 50mm groups. If your hunting an accurate shot is far away the best option. cheers...............................................
pabs
Polymags give you a bigger wound channel, dumps all their energy into the target. Is generally much better on flesh. So they don't need to be quite as accurate. But I'm with everyone else, I like my pellet to go exactly where I want it to go! Though I have seen quite a few people getting 1-1/12 inch groups at 50 yards with them. That's plenty accurate enough.

M.I.A
I was not able to get out at the weekend to give them a try. I must add that they fit and cycle fine in my AA S410 Magazine. If they are up to standard then i shall use them on our feathered friends only as a quick test in the garden into an old argos book showed that they "deform" very quickly, i know its not a great comparison to quarry but i find that JSB exacts punch further into the book and deform just as much
