bothbarrels
Mongrel, I've been a member of Chichester wildfowlers for over 3 years now and to be honest I wished I had known about it a lot sooner. Getting out onto the marsh in the early hours of the morning, before the world has woken up, waiting for the sunrise and then seeing the first silhouette of a duck whistle past, is something that I'll never tire of. I do hope you get your membership sorted out, but when you do, give me a shout and I'll take you out... Hi mate.sent you a pm just checking you got it? wildrefowl
Went down on Sunday evening for the new members monthly organised flight. The weather couldn't have been worse, sunny, clear and no wind, needless to say we didn't see a lot. Could really do with some cold weather to get those Wigeon in the harbour. Not totally accurate, we SAW some Teal and Wigeon, well, I say saw, they were more like sparrows they were that high!! Was worth going down for the comedy double act that masqueraded as mentors though, those two should be on stage!!! wildrefowl
The wigeon seem to have arrived in the harbour; I roughly counted a 1000 wigeon in one area! Anybody been out?
