al4x
a little advice Glen though it may save a few quid have a look locally and check you can't get the same gun face to face. Saves a lot of agro and you make sure its the gun you want and the condition its in. Furthest I've travelled for one is close on 200 miles and it was as advertised but its definitely better to see what you are buying first. That's something I would advise as well, buy local or arrange to meet somewhere convenient for both of you. I've got a sxs shotgun for sale and am willing to travel up to 60miles or so to sell it,just to save the fee's. It could end up costing the buyer £70 extra through RFD. al4x
its also about making sure you are happy with what you are buying. There is an alternative of sale or return but someone has to pay the rfd fees and delivery both ways and you can guarantee that will leave someone unhappy. castletyne
I would prefer a f2f but it's a hammer shotgun and no one local has any I'm buying a gun of a member on here who comes recommended As someone has said bagnalls no longer do it and deepblue are a waste of time
