silpig5
strange question is it normal for a two year old lab to miss one of our cats ? the lab grew up with asbo the cat and allways played together and ate together . asbo has been missing for 2 weeks and now ruffs has not been herself for a few days takes herself away to her cage and lays there , allways wants cuddles and love when she does get out of her cage and not really into her food much any one know if they do miss there friends / even if it is a cat . adi
mpk
I can imagine they probably do, if they did get on I'm sure the dog may have seen the cat as some sort of companion. I'm sure she will get over it though
tweedledee
i had 2 dogs a lab and a german shepherd. they were both bought as pups. when the gsd died the lab walked round the house for weeks moaning. it looked in the very wardrobes. i would n`t have believed it unless i witnessed it myself. i have now 2 young dogs and they are inseparable so i would n`t expect anything different this time. JR1960
of course they do bud, had a GSD and a collie, they used to lick the cat to death and sleep in a big heap with it in the middle, when the cat died they were both off colour for weeks.
