LeicesterChris
Hi all, I've managed to secure permission on a local golf course which is riddled with furry invaders. Currently one evening's hunting will result in 7-10 rabbits (and there seem to be more everytime I go out!) This is far more rabbit than I can eat myself (the freezer is currently groaning at the seams) - does anyone know if I can sell the excess and who might like to buy them/how much a rabbit is worth?? I live in Thurmaston, Leicester. Thanks! Chris
Beretta28g
A game dealer may buy them from you but i think you have to be a trained hunter first.
HDAV
No idea about training and you can sell sell them in the fur to butchers or game dealers going rate is about £1 I think Alot of retail butchers prefer ferreted rabbits but as they sell £5+ dressed you get some takers try local restaurants and pubs as they make great chefs specials Game dealing licence was abolished in England and Wales IIRC to sell dressed you need meat hygiene cert I think Edited July 24, 2011 by HDAV

FalconFN
Butchers, farm shops, game dealers, pubs, restaurants and don't forget family, friends and neighbours. I now get £2 each from a farm shop, gutted and skinned, but they only take head-shot bunnies.
