dan-250
Haha, he's like me but younger. I'm always in fields, it is a shame more kids don't get out but then again it's good As we have more permission and less hassle from them, if there was big demand for things prices would rise and permission would become even harder to find

Frenchieboy
It really is good to see that some kids are still capable of "making their own entertainment" rather than playing computor games or sitting in front of the telly all day long. Encourage him as much as you can! There are so many kids in this country nowadays that are grossly overweight and I personally think that a part of this is because they do not get out in to the fresh air enough or spend time exercising as much as they ought to. To add to that many of them haven't got a clue about the wildlife that surrounds them and think that the meat they eat is grown with the shrink wrap around it. Good luck to the lad, I hope his interest in the countryside and the animals that live in it (And shooting) continue to develope, and fair play to you for taking him out with you mate! If you are his father or "mentor" I raise my hat to you Noel! "Respect"!
