Steve'o
Three great heavy underlever springer all about the same weight. What do use or would u chose ie;.cal and why. I have a TX200HC IN .22 cal very pleased with it, but I am looking at Weihrauch HW97K but would this be better than the TX? Or basicly the same only slightly weightier and of coarse the famous Rekord Trigger. Please vote and leave your veiws Cheers Steve'o
beatingisbest
i have never fired any of them but i chose the HW97k because i think it looks the best and i like weihrauch
roblade
having had all three off the above, there is very little to split them, but my personal choice is the HC. BUT..... the 97 can be made into a much better rifle than the HC or MK3. ROB B)
SNAKEBITE
I have not shot any of the above so cannot FAIRLY comment but having owned both brands and heard a little about the concerned rifles I would buy the TX200HC. In .
mr_jack
I have recentley bought myself the tx200hc walnut .177 i sold my stingray and had abit of dosh on the side aswell to put towards a pcp, but a lovely second hand tx caught my eye, 2nd hand as in 3weeks old and fired 30 through it.... so i went for that instead of a pcp, got hold of it and knew it was the one, the rifle can match a pcps acurracy in the right hands anyday, the rifle is just heaven am happy that i went with the tx over a pcp rifle Edited April 26, 2006 by mr_jack

The Shootist
Probably the TX's straight out of the box, 97's take longer to run in but eventually become as smooth as a smooth thing to cock and fire. Plus the 97's have the potential to be tuned into a far better rifle than the TX if you want to go that far. So I plumped for the 97 in the poll... mr_jack
nicely put there mate, but i dont see the point in paying for the 97 and then paying more after youve get the rifle so it can be tuned when you can just buy the tx200hc and have the better rifle out of the box i prefer the look and feel of my tx200hc and i wouldnt swop it for the best tuned hw97....... MC
I voted for the Mk 3. I had one and always regret selling it. I now have an AA pro sport and in my eyes it is a much nicer rifle to use. It balances well and is very smooth. It only puts out about 11.5Ft lbs though. Cheers Martin
roblade
It only puts out about 11.5Ft lbs though. Cheers Martin and your point is????LOL but understand what you mean about it being a nice little rifle i find that when i used my pro sport it gave me a sore arm after a tin of pellets, compared to shoot as much as i want with the TX. but if the pro sport was on the above list, i think its about the best spring rifle you can get ROB ps im sorry about the name

The Shootist
When u say he 97 take longer to run in What u saying 500 pellets or more? I'd say any springer needs several tins before they finally settle down. There's a lot of mechanical things going on in there to smooth off and bed down. My experience of 97k's they aint bad from the box but do get better over time above and beyond the few tins needed to get them run in. Mines done 30,000 pellets ... been stripped for a lube twice in it's life and is so unbelievably smooth to cock and shoot you'd swear it had been venomed or something. They really do tune themselves with use... Have banged in 54... 55's x 60 round a hft course with it... very accurate...
