Stuck in work chained to desk at a highways deopt right next to some lovely looking pigeon shooting land. Have not seen or heard anyone on it until this afternoon when I spotted a magnet....whoever it is they seem to be having a reasonable afternoon!! Fair play to you fella, whoever you are, hope you have/are having a good one.......still jealous though :sad1:

It does not get any easier does it, especially when you hear and see someone else having fun, cheer up Paul it is nearly the week end.

Indeed I am Blackla! Was that you shooting yesterday then?

No, i've had my eye on those fields for a while though, still havent found out who's they are! When you get bored at lunchtime, pop into Eaststaffs for a nose around and see if you wake John up when you go in the shop! He's got quite a nice gun room up there! I'll be popping in tomorrow to get some cartridges.

I have my eye on them everday from the office LOL!! The various fields have been cut over the last couple of weeks, but the stubbles have been left giving whoever has the permission a decent chance of getting out there!! Unlike our permission, as soon as the rape/wheat is cut and the combine has left the field the discer/plough moves straight in, no chance of shooting stubbles at all :cry1: Shame you can't find out whose they are, I reckon you could have some good days on there, some pretty consistant flight lines.....you would have to watch for the doves though, seems to be quite a strong population round this area.

Whereabouts is Eaststaffs, not that familiar with the area as I have been seconded in!!

Cheers

I'll ask him tomorrow when i'm there, he's bound to know! If you're where i think you are, opposite the readymix concrete place, walk out to the road, look right and you'll see John Eastaff Buildbase, the gun shop is above it to the left. If you go, walk past the main door to the builders merchant and there's another smaller door, go through, upstairs and hey presto, you're there!

That is indeed where I am for the time being. Right on my door step and I never even knew, shows how much attention I have beenhat aren paying and yet I can pick out flight lines over fields that aren't even mine  I might well have to have a ganders in there soon when I feel a bit more flush!! Good luck with finding out who the fields belong to and perhaps one day I might be watching you have a Red Letter day from the office window

Cheers Blackla :good:
