Luckyshot
Just keep trying to punch it out, I used a 10mm socket on the back to support the trigger and then used a punch to tap the pin through. Ive done this 3 times on my different rifles and none of them have taken longer than 30 seconds to knock the rear pin out.

V8 90
If you dont have a small enough pin punch use the other pin you have removed

bindi
be brave, just find a small punch and knock it through one way, then when you're done just re-insert opposite way....job done
garyb
I used a drill bit
malkiserow
I think you only need to remove the rear pin for a sleeve and spring kit (and this makes life much easier) Give the pin very good support, I used an engineers clamp. If you do not support the body you might damage the parts and that is expensive
steve42
Had the same trouble with mine , it had been swaged over each end just enough for it not to knock out .Had to use a dremil and grind the top of each pin , did'nt take much then it tapped out no bother The pin on mine had i dimple in each end probably done with a centre punch to keep the pin in place Edited August 19, 2011 by steve42
robben77
Cheers fellas,I've managed to do it now,the rear pin was a solid one though? Also after fitting the shim the sear and trigger didn't meet and lock so that had to be removed!
