Lord Geordie Posted May 2, 2006 Report Share Posted May 2, 2006 Thats not a boat Thats a DINGY compared to the boats WE hire I love the broads myself Some nice pike fishing in the northern broads in Barton Broad South end near Brundall is good also normally i just use lures there but have had a few dead baits out early in the year in Hickling Broad with no takers for the whole week Lures were just as fruitless :( Going back mid year then again late in the year maybe better then LG Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

pluckers son Posted May 2, 2006 Author Report Share Posted May 2, 2006 we only got 1 days fishing in because on the 2nd day it was the closed seson, but never mind i had a good birthday all the same. any pigeon watch members live at the norfolk broads because i havd never seen so many ducks in my life thay were all over the place in the farmers fields,on the road side,in peoples gardens and when we went out on the boat there was loads on the river banks too...there was a fieid at the back of the cottage that i had a look at with a torch about 11.00pm and there was about 50 rabbits i couldnt belive my eyes where i live your lucky to see 6 at a time ill take the air rifle next time i think Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
