When should I ring up and chase

I got one application through faster by chasing it every week. It's a pain I know, but it certainly helps.

Phone the Firearms office, ask for the mobile number or your Firearms officer. They all have one (At least in Norfolk) which use is to be contacted by the public during working hours, while he's out and about.

Funnily enough I rang Lincs yesterday to politely enquire how my FAC application was going ....the nice lady said " Oh it's green, that means it's been passed and will be signed in the next few days "

Should get it in the post in the next few days :good::D

The other thing to be aware of is that the FEO for our area ( I'm near to you, just south of Lincoln ) is currently recovering from an op so the other FEO's are covering his area too, hence the possiblity for a bit of a delay.

I'd give them a ring, they don't bite.

Ok I'll ring first thing on Monday then, hopefully get an answer and a respond to how much longer it will be, can't see if the cheque has been cashed as I can't do them on my account, I'll see if it's gone out from my mums. I'll just ask if there's any news from the doctors or something. I'll have a chat about how long it's expected to be before the chap comes to inspect my cabinet . Cheers dan
