Vince Green
I would advocate buying .222 ammo rather than cases from PPU. Penny for penny its cheaper to buy the ammo and keep the cases for later reloading. In reality, why reload at all? Cost wise its hardly worth the effort but its always wise to keep the cases against a future shortage or price hike.
Davy Holt
Hiya, In reality, why reload at all? Cost wise its hardly worth the effort . Because it's fun and adictive and just like tying your own trout flys it's a nice feeling when you get your home loads doing the job for you
wyatt
Primary is consistency. Guy I shoot with can't get a sub 1.5" group at 100m with factory ammo. Reloads he gets 1/4" groups. Cost is secondary but is between 50 - 70% of factory ammo depending on prices at the time.
