yankeedoodlepigeon
Hi All. I bought something off a member on here almost 1 month ago now and paid for it via Paypal the same day. I also bought something off another member and got the item the next day but back to the first item. After a week or so I mailed the member asking where item was, they said they had been busy and hadn't had time to post it. O.k after a few days I asked if it had been posted yet? No still not had time. Fearing the worst I offered to pay extra for recorded, tracked delivery when item was posted. Seller told me it had finally been posted but still has not arrived. I also messaged another member that bought something off him at the same time to see if he had got what he had bought off the same seller and got a message back to almost mirror my situation. Having just got a message off the seller saying item was posted at my risk what are my options? Thanks
-Mongrel-
Sounds as if you have exhausted your options to be honest, if he is saying that it was posted at your risk then I'd be looking at the legal situation...my feeling would be that it is probably down to the seller to prove postage but I'm no brief... ... otherwise, cut your losses and name and shame to prevent anyone else getting turned over. If no joy contact paypal (in fact contact paypal ASAP) First class post has an insurance value of £25 i think

-Mongrel-
Didn't notice the Paypal payment, contact them and open a dispute for goods not received, you should end up being refunded if it was a purchase 'for goods', not sure what the situation is if you sent it as a 'gift'.
