mpk
I would love a go at this but have never been wildfowling, do any clubs offer to take out newbies at all? Thanks Anthony I'm sure there would be some sought of facility to do this, best thing to do would be to get in contact and have a chat with your local club mentioned in the book .....you will get addicted to it it's great fun !!! kent
I would love a go at this but have never been wildfowling, do any clubs offer to take out newbies at all? Thanks Anthony Yes, be honest and ask. Generally its a very bad idea to go out onto an unknown marsh without someone who knows it, the contact for permits at the club will generally have someone who can help you out. oscarsdad
thanks for the advice guys...I just need to establish which is my 'local' club, bearing in mind I live in the geographical centre of England! Anthony
Matty7247
I have used the book, and i am shooting in Scotland, 2 wknds. Once in October, and once in December. It will be my first time, and i am going with an experienced shooter. A great idea, and great for 'Newbies' like me.
Reabrook
Oscar's Dad Yes Gloucestershire WA do and are quite possibly your nearest club as well. http://www.gloucestershirewildfowlers.co.uk/index.html There is a facility on the Club link to contact them and book a Taster Flight. Guided flight for £25 is good value I reckon and all money raised goes straight to the land purchase fund to secure the future of Wildfowling in the area. Spaniel
We had quite a few guys take up the taster flights last season and we are already seeing a number of application for this season. I will be making some phone calls this weekend to start organising Oct taster flights so if you are interested just complete the on line form as mentioned
