caplock
Had a couple of hours over one of my permissions after a call from the farmer saying that the cattle feed troughs were black with crows etc 5 mins after the feed is laid down. The old Browning shoots well and the tight choke knocks them down a treat with no flappers

Lord Geordie
Was on the Remington 11 when i got it but it looks better on the A5 This A5 is nice to shoot i hit just about everything i aim at with it but then it's a 1/2 choke i beleive so it's got every right to not miss As for the Synthetic stocks you Can get em shipped over from the States though and quite cheap i hear LG Edited May 4, 2006 by Lord Geordie
caplock
Yep that looks good. A touch of the modern world to an old classic, with easy maitainance and no more worries about scratching the wood. The thing I like about the A5 as compared to some of the other semis I've had is how quick they are to clean without the gas system to worry about. Once through with the boresnake and a quick wipe down and thats it done till next time. No more scrubbing soot away from piston assemblies and getting good and dirty in the process. Designed in 1900, very clever bloke that J Browning. Cheers Cap
Lord Geordie
Well mine is the Belgian copy but every part a browning in effect as it's where the brownings were made too. Also the remington model 11 was made to almost the same spec (a few discreet differences) I had the Browning A5 as well as the Rem 11 AND this Belgian Fabrique but sold the Browning A5 to make room in the cabinet. Now i have filled it again with Dunganicks Franchi Once the franchi arrives it it's a good fit for my Step son i may get rid of this one too as i ALSO need a 30" O/U in the near future LG
