Remington Buckshot #1

Recommended Posts

use it for what?

I've used #4 buck as a coyote load. It patterned perfectly for 40-50 yard shots and carried more than enough energy for what I wanted. #1 is a bit big for small things at any sort of range as the pattern gets a bit thin and it is a bit small for big things as the pellets don't carry as much energy at any sort of range.

Thanks,

Rick

Ah, thanks guys, was just wondering if anyone tried it on Deer, hog or fox.

Thanks

Used 10 pellet 00 Buck, their home loads mind and they pattern tight at range.

Not too much to use them on, foxes don’t need that kind of cartridge at all. A friend of mine I shoot for always bangs on about boar on his land and to be fair to him there is evidence.

If you’re in the US you may want to try federal flitecontrol 00 buckshot.
