My 11yr old lab is starting to slow down and is suffering from a little arthritus so to be fair on her I am thinking of getting another dog, so she can enjoy her retirement.

The type of shooting I do Is mainly walked up game,& pigeon decoying,. But this season I intend to join a wildfowling club which eventually I'd like to introduce my new dog to. My question is, what would in your opinion would be the best all rounder? I'm torn between a lab and a springer, or does anyone favour another breed that would be better suited to my needs? :hmm:
