Lord Geordie
Well as i was typing the last reply to the other thread i heard the unmistakable beat of pigeon wings in the garden  Rush to the cabinet to fetch the falcon and a tin of lead and back down the stairs and by then the neighbours cat had chased it away So i lay the gun in the corner of the room and went to make a cuppa when the beat of wings returned So i put my coffee down and picked up a CD (dont ask) oh well go on then. I used the CD to look round and down the hall as i didn't want to spook the pigeon. I used the CD as a form of periscope Anyway he was in the garden pulling the pea shoots out the little so n so so i slithered into the living room and put the crosshairs on his neck and BOOM a 10.6 grain lump of lead ended his life at 705FPS Dropped over and his little legs were making the last run no doubt to the great grain store in the sky But a nice big woody is on the menu tonight and my peas are safe for another day Will post a pic as i am using his as a decoy on a home made cradle to see how effective it is. When i get tired of using it as a decoy i shall take a piccy for you and post up in the pics section LG Edited May 8, 2006 by Lord Geordie
