With woodland and the type of Stalking i do & when shooting off sticks it is FAR EASYER to mount your Gun single handed and get it on to the sticks, with less chance of your quarry seeing you if you carry the gun round barrel down & taped. When Stalking Stags in the Highlands I change the strap around and carry the gun barrel up and taped as you tend to slip into cracks and the like with more chance of fowling the barrel. catcherpelt Posted September 22, 2011 Report Share Posted September 22, 2011 Its official, the munty that i shot 2 weeks ago for the PW Butchery night is a Gold Medal :thumbs: SS and Garyb took the head to the Midland Game Fair on Sunday and BASC measured it for them. The Head scored 65.3 Thanks SS, Garyb PELTY Well Done Mate. Don't have it measured by ICI you may get a better looking Medal and your name in the Shooting Times but you will need to get a bloody loan out the paid them Sorry for showing my CWD picture as a good friend I'm sure you don't mind..
