Well I went out on Monday , drove around about 50 stubbles , and though most had a few birds on them nothing to realy make it worth while setting up. The only field that had any number of birds was a clover field , but that had grazing stock on it so could not shoot it. finaly set up on a stubble with a good sitty wood next to it. The result for 4 hours was one wood pigeon and a crow. Mind you it was not realy good pigeon shooting weather.

I was out for the first time since August after some pigeons after I found a good number on a stubble this morning. The first 5 birds were all young , some very young and ended the morning with 29 out of 52 birds being young. looks as though they are having a late breeding season in Norfolk.

Also found quite a few starting on the rape so a further outing is going to be needed after the goose flight in the morning.
