markyboy
Are the extrema 2 not quite heavy? At the start of the thread some1 said about a webly and Scott these are Turkish built rubbish that are in the league of hatsan! So don't rush out and buy
chrispti
Are the extrema 2 not quite heavy? Depends how weak you are. They are near 8lb, but well balenced and do not feel heavy. It weighs the same as my old 30" 686e Edited October 4, 2011 by chrispti

wulliewinky
for many years I'd have advised you to a Beretta of any model especially a 303 But now after 2 years shootin a Browning Maxus I can't say strongly enough how brilliant they are, fast & easy to use... ere ere, great gun, cycle owt from 24g upwards
cundyno1
Depends what you mean by cheap. I use a Beretta AL391 and cant fault it. Its held its value since I bought it and never misses a beat. But, it may be a bit over the price you are looking for. Just seen one of these at Holts Auctioneers was valued £100-£150 i bid £180, it looked almost brand new. It went for £260 in the end plus commission about £300. Had to settle for a Hatsan Escort Magnum in the end. Paid..... £100, Thought that was very reasonable. Bought for pigeons and wildfowling. You should have bided more for the Beretta mate. Must have been something wrong with it though, but if not, what a bargain someone had ;)
*zinc
I use a webley and scott 810 its cheap and cheerfull and does the job.Oh and its never let me down. Sorry mate but the webley's are made by hatsan or vies versa. I have herd nothing but good things about both. But if you can get a cheap Benelli M2 you are laughing. That's what I am aiming for
stu nesling
+1 for the franchi's, i have 2! 712 3 inch is bang on for not much money, light and with very low recoil. gas operated. 912 3.5 inch a bit heavier and designed for 30g shells upwards, easy to clean low recoil gas gun again.this is the gun they discontinued a short while after the beretta extrema/benelli BE2 came out as it was the forerunner to these guns. with rotating bolt etc it was ahead of its time. good luck with whatever you choose
