turbo33
Any one else tried to use the Toyota TNS700 satnav? God only knows who wrote the program for it. :o I have just spent the best part of an hour with a list of addresses and over half of them it can't find. If you input the postal code, which you access by entering "town" It tries to be too clever and won't allow the last two critical digits/letters. WHY You are then asked for the street name, which again after a couple of entries will only allow you to pick from the selection it has available. Then if you are successful and your street name is available, you will get a 50 50 chance of if it will offer you the chance of a number or not. No the map isn't out of date, its an '07 vehicle and I have tried so many old established addresses in high streets etc to get " no numbers available" God help you if your house stupidly has a name on a main road as the nearest you can get to it is the closest town!! How can toyota charge the sort of money they do for this unit when you can buy a sat nav for £150 that is far more able No I didn't buy it, it was in the otherwise excellent vehicle I bought! Anyone else discovered this? Edited October 3, 2011 by turbo33

Anyone else discovered this? Yes, i have had a few issues with it in the past trying to find places in the back of beyond, but it still gets me closer than i would be without it.I double check now on "google maps" if its important to be there on time. Its a small price to pay though for a good truck
keg
If it's the same one that's in our Landcuiser, they are a sack of pooh. New CD ROM is 140 quid. I can get a good Garmin for that.
