tarn2215
I am thinking of heading up to Kelbrook for a round of Sporting on my own this weekend. Has anyone been?
apache
Yes and it is good. Can be a bit busy some weekends and you are not sure if it's your clay in the sky or someone else's! The delays make shooting on your own quite doable.
Gordon R
It is okay, but clays from neighbour's traps are a pain. It is a large ground, but they have reduced it a very small area - easy to walk round, but too compact.
webber
I like shooting at Kelbrook, I just wish that it cost a little less and was closer to home. Gordon is correct about neighbours clays. I make myself aware of which stands are occupied, and wait for them to shout pull, I then wait for the bangs, then I shout pull it works for me! webber

kent
Its a very comfortable place to be for a lone female, my wife likes it I have never been at weekends but used to go a lot during odd times during the working week. The layout is not to difficult to understand, i have never had my bird taken not taken someone elses
BlaserF3
You will enjoy it, it's a ground for different abilities too. You have a choice of coloured layouts to shoot, blue is the easiest, then red, then green. Viv cooks excellent food here, breakfast is a bargain, and the food is sourced from local shops. Gordon R
Mike - is the colour coding a recent feature? I was up there about 18 months ago - never noticed it. If it has been there for years - oops.
