Super light, super accurate, pumps out at 11.6 lbs using Bisley magnums!!!! What more can I say? You should try asking around to see if anyone in your area has one you could try. Trust me you'll love it. :@)
michael milton
I have just sold my Brocock contour.22,the rifle was very good, lite and accurate, the reason i sold it on,i found it to light espesialy with cross winds as i couldnot keep the rifle steady enough,no safety catch and low shot count. Got a s410 .22 and love it. Cheers Mick
crofty
I like the pressure gauge on s400 and it has a good reputation! But i keep going back to the brocock! So at the moment i cant decide. How consistent are the Brococks? As i know u can get the air arms regged.

At the mo she is getting about 50 shots out of a fill and can kill xtra strong mints at 30 yards every shot using AA diablos even though she is ranged in at 20 yards for the local club. I find my S410 to be be better in the breeze as mentioned earlier, but have to say that when the boss aint looking I am going to sneak the XL out for a bit of bopping. If the 400 is any thing like my 300 then you have got no worries about hard wearing equipment that is accurate and reliable. ATB HB
crofty
Im defo going towards the Brocock any other opinions out there???
jacksdad
Air Arms every time for me, I've got an old S310 and an even older S300, the latter with a Rowan 6 shot mag conversion, and is my favourite! Good weight, been knocked over, dropped, soaked through, and well used yet is still perfectly accurate. I've fitted an MTC Mamba and I won't sell it, or the 310, in a hurry! happyshooter
Im defo going towards the Brocock any other opinions out there??? Hi crofty , if you are of small build the brocock is ideal but if large build the s400 is a better bet i personslly would go for the s400 though single shot Rowan Eng do a multisho conversion for them though manually indexed it works well i had a s400 .177 with the rowan kit fitted and it worked well imo the s400 is a better gun. regds brian Edited October 10, 2011 by happyshooter
secretagentmole
I will throw a curve ball in here! Tried the new BSA Scorpion SE? The wife has one and loves it, light, but good in wind, accurate, good shot count now as they fill to 232 bar! John Knibbs at Shustoke are selling them for £490. Great little gun, the short length makes it ideal for stalking and using from a vehicle as well! Try one, they are also ambidextrous so you do not get penalised if you are a southpaw!
