Beretta28g
YEP!! Fished with a friend, and he had a good few too. I tried a clipped down pulley rig an was fishing close on the wreck. It was good fun although bloody knackering. Out of interest where did you get your F/S finger guard? fenboy
Kessingland is around 4-5 miles past Lowestoft ,next beach up from pakefield ,if you have a satnav then put in NR33 7TF and that will take you into kessingland then just follow the road down to the sea there is limited parking opposite the bar/resteraunt on the sea front I have always managed to get parked there ,but if not I am told there is parking up some of the back streets. Rig wise nothing fancy needed just a two hook flapper for the whiting and I will also have a rod with a clipped down pennel on in hope rather than expectation of a cod. if you want to meet up there is no rush as even if your there a 5-6pm you will have most if not all the flood to fish,we are going early because LEEDS CHIMP is scared of setting up in the dark ,think he is worried about casting up the beach rather than into the sea

Sprackles
Local beach boat came in today with 170kg of cod from 1000 hook longlines. Also had 4 skate which is unheard of at this time of year from the Humber plus 40 kg of whiting. The weights are not tales either, I was in the merchants when they were weighed. Some big fish too.
