browning n spaniel Posted October 23, 2011 Report Share Posted October 23, 2011 afternoon boys, Anyne been out over weekend trying there luck on the pigeons??? myself has been out today on rape, field been blue all week, feeding there when i turned up , set up in good flight line, shot 8 in 6 hrs, plenty of birds flying , but no intrest in decoying they was comming over at 100mph, and 100 ft up anyone had the same fustrating week end Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Frenchieboy Posted November 6, 2011 Report Share Posted November 6, 2011 I no expert on decoying pigeons but I suspect that part of the problem at this time of the year is that they are mostly feeding on the rich and easy pickings of acorns and beech masts!
