Just changing the subject slightly, i am looking at purchasing an L200 and was just wondering how often the timing belt should be changed?

Its a shame you can't decoy Cley marshes all the grassland is covered with Pigeons, i walked from Cley to Blakeney yesterday evening and saw hundreds.

I put a bungee strap around my seat when carrying it, i hook it under the two hooks which locate onto the back legs and then wrap it all the way round the seat, problem solved.

They usually go off at half hour intervals so as soon as one has exploded i walk over knowing i have about fifteen to twenty minutes to get there and put it out either by cutting the end of the rope off or dipping it in water/coffee.

Could pick them up tomorrow if possible, i live in Higham Ferrers so not to far, how much do you want for them?

Can anyone in the Beds, Cambs, Northants border area help me out with some fresh Pigeons? A family friend has asked for a load of Pigeon breasts for a New Year party, i am about 40 birds short at the moment and after a drive round our permissions today there is a chance we may struggle. As from next weekend if anyone can help me out i will collect any day of the week and pay for the birds. Many thanks Billy1

I have just opened up some pigeons and four of them were stuffed full of rape seed.

i saw a flock of about fifty lift off a rape field today, will give it a go tomorrow and see if things have at last improved.

I purchased one of these at this years CLA fair and it is far the best seat i have used, comfy seat, good backrest and a handy bag built under the seat which is ideal for putting cartridges in.

Same here, not decoying onto rape yet so just sat under tree with three dead birds out in cradles and shot eight.The birds are just starting to flock up now. Billy.

Friday and Saturday for me plus two nights in a hotel plus taking the wife = Expensive but well worth it.

I use an old fishing pole, managed to reach 10 meters before but a steady hand and not much wind is required for that height

9 yesterday over OSR TOTAL - 1549

Was out on Tuesday over OSR set up 25 shell decoys, 1 rotar, 2 Bouncers and 2 angels, pigeons looked but would not commit so i set up the flapper which made all the difference, pigeons decoyed perfectly, obviously the more movement you provide the more confident the pigeons become this time of year.
