Cutting and threading a .22WMR barrel

It is if you have a lathe with a screw cutting facility and know how to use it. If not, I would suggest a decent Gunsmith. If you invest in a cheapy job, and the bore of the silencer is not concentric to the bore axis of the rifle you are looking at a round through the side of it or worse.

Try Elderkin & Son (Spalding) on 01775-722919.

The CZ 452 was left at the rfd 5 years ago but they don't have a number for the fella so I gotta knock on his door to make an offer, lol!!

The barrel inside is a bit grubby but nowt major and the rest is in very good condition :good:

I'll give Elderkins a buzz they're not far from me,

Cheers

Tried them and it's something they would have to send away and didn't seem overly bothered about doing it :hmm:

RFD where it's at said 60 quid to cut, thread and re-crown which doesn't sound too bad to me anyway. What do you think?

They are no harder or easier than most barrels..........

This CZ American WMR had 3" taken off and then threaded, then went off the Dennis at UK Gun Repairs for a little more work!

That looks nice mate is it a Walnut stock? I'm sure the one I'm looking at is Walnut :hmm:
