M.I.A
Hello, I'm looking at buying a quad. However I haven't a clue what to get. It has to be: road legal, 4 wheel drive, half decent engine size as I will now and then use it on B roads, ideally to have racks/trays and plenty of space for all my kit. If anyone knows an ideal candidate then let me know your views. I'd like to spend around 2K Thanks Edited October 30, 2011 by M.I.A

Thelongwayup
Another vote for Honda Foreman. Worked on the farm on for ages. Yes it wears bushes out if not looked after and cleaned regular but the farm ones just keep on running. Ones goosed and sounds like a bag of spanners being thrown down a tunnel yet it keeps on going. BrowningDJC
Honda all the way, unbeatable.
Redditch
Most makes are good nowadays, but problems on autoboxes sometimes, so would advise a manual box. If you expect it to be reliable, clean and service it regular, and change the oil and filters on time Edited November 6, 2011 by Redditch

remy 700
Hi great advice here , kawasaki 350 will do all you need but the honda is more refined , get the farmers guardian out every friday , loads of deals to be had , be carefull of any in off the farm condition , as they need a refurb in some cases , 2k will buy a very good machine , poss with a trailer to tow it on and then tow behind it! cheers
