bazzab
Hi all. I have a LED Lenser P7 torch tat I use on my R10. Now it's a great torch, but discovered last week that's it just to bright rabbiting/ratting with!!! Planes were trying to land under it's light!!! I use the pressure switch for it. I am trying to decide on a way to wire a dimmer switch up to it like Deben have. Has anyone any thoughts / experience of this? Anyone use a P7 and what they do? Any thoughts or input most gratefully received. Many thanks on advance Bazza :)

Loki
Hi Stage lighting filter sheets come in hundreds of colour shades in 18"(600mm) sheets - cut to size/fit. Black reticle in/on red light may not be easiest for the eye.........the people in the shop will be able to decipher the graph that comes with each sheet (ie more in the infra-spectrum over the light-spectrum or such like) I'm trying a dark shade of yellow (similar to headlight covers for Euro-driving in some countries) - cuts down brightness but also allows the reticle to be seen easily/clearly.
