durbsguy
After a fruitful weekend casting pellets with my grandfather for our rimfire guns got me thinking. Has anyone tried with any success to cast their own pellets? If so does anyone know where to buy a set if dies for them?

Underdog
When I was in my teens I had a small 177 bullet mold, I can't remember where from but I do remember casting some small bullets and they worked but were to heavy really so I gave up. They were to pointed too IMO and would just zip through and actually were worse at killig than normal pels. In a FAC air gun they may of been good! I would love to know about the rim fire bullets you are casting??? U.
durbsguy
As I have just found out they are centre fire guns, I always knew them as what they are ie casting slugs for the colt gold cup and H&H
durbsguy
My apologies I got the centre fire and rim fire mixed up. I only have only called the guns what they are ie 270, 375, 45 Edited November 2, 2011 by durbsguy
