Blunderbuss
As above what are the similarities and differences between the beretta and the browning as i have allowance for chrismas and wondered wich one was best and have only tried the maxus Wouldn't you be better trying the A400 as well then you can make a true comparison yourself? The trouble with asking a question like this is that people recommend the gun they own. Those who've bought a Maxus will recommend it, even if they've never fired the Beretta and vice versa. Only listen to those who've owned (or at least used) both, or better still try them both yourself I hope you enjoy it whichever you buy
alastair0903
i have used both and own a Maxus . i had a go with a mates A400 with kickoff and did not get on with the kickoff . the A400 was cycling 65mm 24 gram carts no problem atall , but i just didn`t like the whole stock moving though the kickoff, it was very smooth to shoot (although the 24 grams are easy on the shoulder anyhow) my Maxus wouldn`t cycle the same carts (24gram 65mm ) when it was new , but after running it in it does now spit out 65mm 24 gram carts . the Maxus also has the very handy speed load witch i couldn`t do without now , it seems such a faf getting the first cartridge in the chamber on the A400 ! My friend that owned the A400 trader it in for a Maxus shortly after having a go with mine ! He even says that the Maxus kicks less than the A400 with kickoff , witch i`m not sure about ! You won`t go far wrong with either guns i wanted a camo gun and couldn`t afford the Bretta pice even if i wanted one
Tim Kelly
Maxus has the safety at the back of the trigger guard, A400 has it at the front. I like my maxus.
killer_pigeon
Maxus gets my vote for the fact its a synch to strip down to clean and you can get 4 x 65mm carts in it. plus you aget all shims and spacers as standard and not as optional extra Tried the A400 but it didnt feel right for me personally (both feel of it and price!) mind you i am built like a big fat American rather then a tiny slim Italian which probably explains it !
