big bad lindz
your question was answered was it not ? I may be going down around the Caerlaverock area later this month and I have just sent my permit application form off. I have heard a lot about the Solway so I am looking foward to having a crack myself. I dont know about Glenluce area but there are one or two clubs around Perth & Dundee areas if you look them up I am sure you will find some info on the BASC web site. Some clubs and reserve areas do charge a small fee for permits but on a whole fore shore shooting for wildfowl wont cost any more than fuel and what shot you use. There some limitations to access ie harbours bomb ranges RSPB areas etc(some RSPB & SNH areas require permits). If you can get someone to tell you where to go I am sure you will have good time out. (although some wildfowlers keep the best areas to themselves :yp: ) Cheers, BBL Edited November 5, 2011 by big bad lindz
