Dr W
I've got a set of spare 16" wheels with 2 road tyres and 2 Forceum ATZ tyres which are virtually brand new to go on my P38 Range Rover. I'm going to buy some BFG AT K/O tyres to replace the road tyres. The question is should the (I'm assuming) better BFG tyres go at the front or the rear or does it matter? I thinking from a handling/braking point of view. Can anyone advise? Thanks
CharlieT
I always put them on the Front.
al4x
I usually go with better ones at the front as well as they do the most braking and steering. That said depends if you want to wear out the older tyres first when its worth putting them on whichever axle wears fastest. I usually find despite mine being rear wheel drive that the fronts wear harder
Alycidon
My Disco wears them at the same rate. Got over 90,000 so far from a set of Grabber ATs, but had 3 punctures in the last little while, 2 today, all screws in the side wall so new tyres needed. Without the screws I would have expected 120,000 miles from them. A
