Spara Dritto
Hi, can anyone help. There is loads of creep on my trigger and then all of a sudden, without realising it you've fired off the pellet! I want my trigger to have no creep and be a little firm... I've tried adjusting the allen key bolts on the trigger but the allen keys don’t fit into the screws... either a little small (1.5) and slip around or (2) which doesn't fit. I'm confused any help would be brilliant.
jacksdad
Quite a simple answer.....DON'T TOUCH IT ! They are very difficult to work on, if you move one screw it will cock up the whole thing, they are very finely balanced, take it to an expert. Gnome of the Woods
The big allen key at the front is for trigger pressure. Have a look here and see if the screws are in similar positions. Best thing to do is take the action out of the stock, remove the cover plate and see whats happening. Then you can see the actions of your changes. Sounds like the second stage (if you have 2 stages) needs winding in a fraction. With all due respect most gunshops and smiths know ****** all about airguns!
jacksdad
Come on gernomey, you know its a 2 stage trigger....and you should also know they are a cow to adjust! I'm looking at this: http://www.shootforum.com/forum/s4x0trigger.html
Farmer-of-the-Futre
I got a new s410 the other day and the trigger was very wobbely so the guy in the gunshop adjusted it however it then would not shoot. So it stays loose. It doesnt bother me too much but i would prefer it to be slightly tighter.
Good shot?
I have recently done my S400 trigger adjustment and as 'Gnome of the woods' says it is best only attempted by removing cover plate and seeing the action as you adjust.I could not have done it without seeing what I was doing. I found it easy by this method and if you want to do it, it is the only way it should be done by yourself IMO.
