Ferret Master
OK. I trust you see that putting that sort of stuff down the barrel is not best! FM
deadeye ive
I made a pull through out of some heavy duty sea fishing line ............tie a piece of cotton strip in the centre and away you go ..........Cleaned the bore once in 5 years and that was probably one time to many . ROB REYNOLDS UK
air rifle you should clean after ever 250 shots ,3in 1 oil is ok as long as you wipe it away after wards ,clean and dry
killer rabbit (r1000)
:o best & cheap way i've found is to use a filter-tip (the kind you buy for roll-your-own cigarrettes) & a drop or two of gun oil. load as normal & fire (remember, safety first. it may be soft but it can still hurt!), just make sure you remove the silencer first otherwise it may catch inside. works with most of any kind of air weapon
SNAKEBITE
I use a pull through that was being sold by a chap on the BBS site to raise money for the Ellie may fund. The pull through is a BRILLIANT design and works to perfection.
24joy
Have only ever cleaned one pcp rifle and it took 250 shots to settle it back into tight groups again. Never cleaned any others since. If it aint broke don't fix it type of thing. Springers get pulled once in a blue moon. Just IMHO. Gun smith, whom I know, to be of high standing, has also said the same.
