snowz Posted November 19, 2011 Report Share Posted November 19, 2011 Over the last few months I have made a few cosmetic changes in my rifles an thought it would be good to show them off. First off fitting a boyds laminate thumbhole stock on my CZ 452 .22lr Second was getting my McMillan stock on my 260ackley painted in a Duracoat GAP camo effect Last was making comb height adjustable on my stock for my Tikka M595 in 222 rem, I have just done this today and refinished with a coat of Danish oil. As you know they are not a drop in deal. I have come to the conclusion that not everyone should be allowed a Dremel tool. Seems before you know it you have a barrel channel fitted for a bench gun!!! Looks beautiful when it's been finished with oil as opposed to varnish. I did this for a B.S.A. rimfire a few years ago but it wasn't adjustable. It was just a fabrication using a jigsaw and some off cuts of aluminium. Did you fabricate yours or was it a kit job? Also, is it adjustable?
