Oxon88
Hey all. Im wanting to buy a decent lamp for use in the car when driving around the fields. something that will plug into the cars 12v power socket and has a decent beam on it. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Colster
I use a Deben Cyclops, 100W Bulb and about £40 inc a red filter. I'd strongly advise with any lamp (particularly ones with 100W Bulbs) that you don't use the cigarette lighter plug... cut it off and wire it back directly to the battery. archiebald
Have you tried this at the side of a lightforce 170 please. no, im afraid iv never owned or seen a lightforce 170 been used so i am unable to compare. it is brighter than my mates deben tracer max tho and with a filter on the beam is still fantastic. you can also adjust from spot to flood by turning the lamp also. for the price i am verry pleased! atb.
