brian28
600 jr m5 Will take die sets for other gauges You might struggle loading .410 shot bridging can be a problem , bits of shot rolling all over your bench.
v5uk
Cheers for the info, yeah I know about shot bridging but fingers crossed it wont happen to much Cheers
sitsinhedges
Apparently the european cases don't load to well either, too flimsy according to Floating Chamber. I'd just use a rto instead of crimp to finish if that's the case.
deershooter
The basic press is the same you can buy 12 gauge dies, but dont expect the press to be set up from the start your cases might not be the same length also you will have difficulty to reload cases that have been roll crimped. You cannot star crimp a case that has been roll crimped. Wad length, the amount of shot, type of powder all make a difference Please make sure that you use suitable components especially powder. Some people think "I used to reload .38 special there is not much difference " its a massive difference you need some of the slowest shotgun powders for .410 You will also need a set of powder bushes or an adjustable charge bar along with a set of scales Please dont except the reloader to make perfect shells from the setting it arrive with because it probably wont but dont be dispondant just adjust as the instructions say and fiddle around with the stack length until you get it right. Happy reloading Deershooter
