woodcock right and left

The closest I ever got to a right and left at woodcock was buying an old shooting book at a shop in London.

Tucked in the back of the book I found a letter from Bols liquers confirming that the recipient had been accepted as a member of the Woodcock Club.

It was a guy with an address in Hertfordshire and I sent it to the address with a note telling him where I'd found it, thinking he'd be glad to get it back. I suppose he could've moved, died, whatver, but I never got a reply!

As for me: I don't shoot game anymore, but I never got a chance to try a R and L on woodcock.
