Albert 888
My freelander srs light has come on after hovering it out must have disturbed the wires under the seat. How can i clear it without removing power from the battery (dont know the radio code)or taking it to a specialist.Any advise would be good thanks.I dont want to be sticking a screwdriver through the clocks either to put the light out . cheers Albert. bobt
it will be the yellow wires under the seat, turn the engine off, take the key out, and wait half an hour for it to discharge, unplug and re plug the connection.
drut
http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f9/srs-light-any-ideas-freelander-43575.html worth a read.AFAIK light will go out after start up self diagnosis if you cure fault so worth fiddling with seat connections. You do need diagnosis if you can't identify fault but most times its under seat connections after seat moved. Gordon R
Daughter in law's did the same. The plug connections are poor. I just cut the plugs off and replaced with covered spade connectors. Job done.
