Cranfield
Hi number 1, welcome. Normally, the pigeons would still be interested in 1" high peas. Could it be that the field has had a bit of a caning ? You mention a 61 bird day. The pigeons will not take continual harrassment if there are other options. What are their options ? Any other peas in the area, or favoured crops ? It sounds as though a good look around your area is needed. Be sure, they are somewhere. Go find ,em. kevin15
Are you sure they were drilled peas and not beans
lazza
I've found that pigeons like to sit in the peas when their a little taller, watch for those places that are a bit thinner. There's a good chance the pigeons will hit those areas quite hard. Good Luck
Malc
Don't worry. They'll be back!
Shaun Robert
We ve found the same problem, in our area, if you have a look around youll find they are still on rape in gaps and short areas, youve got to get out on foot and look for them on the rape, shot 50 odd in two days they seem to be a little late going for the Peas this year but i think they ll hit them with a vengence when they get a bit taller
