Glenshooter
The firing pin has broken on my 1974 Victor Sarasqueta SLE. A lovely and normally reliable gun. Sadly, this was only discovered on the first shot of our boxing day shoot! Can anyone give me a link etc of somewhere where I can simply buy a new firing pin for this almost 40 yr old shotgun? Otherwise I can see an expensive trip to a gunsmith. Thanks in advance.

Alycidon
It should go to good gunsmith for repair. Most are capable of making their own pins of needed. If you have a problem I have a guy that could do it on the Beds/cambs border, worked for Boss and Hollands all his life. These days he does repairs for the trade mainly. Glenshooter
Thanks guys. I emailed Gordon's suggestion and had a return email from Peter at UK Gun Repairs within an hour. He's going to check and get back to me tomorrow. A great, and unexpected (on Boxing Day)response Thanks Alycidon for your suggestion too!
