Farmer-of-the-Futre
A friend of mine has one in beech stock (.22) and it is very nice to hold and shoot. he has taken many rats, rabbits and pigeons with it Not that .177 wont do the same thing but .22 does give a bit more of a whack on impact
punterj
Believe it or not I have been using Milbro TR's in my XL and at about £4.50 per tin they are great vaue. I tried to ignore any pellet snobbery and tried a cheap pellet. I have used AA fields and RWS Superdomes/fields with great results but these have been just as good. I have been getting sub 1" groupings at about 30 yards so they are pretty good from my point of view. AND cheap. I don't think there are different sizes of this type of pellet so I'm afraid I can't help you with the size. Hope this helps.
mad1
I am putting powerpells through it at min ( cos I got them free with it ) And they seem ok at grouping at 30 yards I could prob group better if I can calm the twang though cos it's quite rough
pimpkiller
jsb exact in 4.51 for a 177 gun, i prefer them to AA diablo field and cheaper to boot.
