I can't for the life of me understand why they have FEOs that are "atni guns" or "anti shooting", surely this makes them biased right from from the outset so that they can not conduct a fair home visit or assess things with"an open mind"! :hmm:

He was a snotty sod,i had a problem with my renewal a while ago and he done his best to make it as difficult as he could,if it wasnt for basc heaven knows what the out come may have been. :yp:

I think the police like to avoid the public having guns, they seem to feel that the only ones who should have guns are themselves. Therefore it suits them to have FEO's who are 'anti gun/shooting', I can't see them having problems with it.

When I had my interview my mum was about, being a young snapper still living at home . He had a word with her , went through all the form and explained if I get in trouble it will be revoked and it has to stay in the cabinet at all times when not in use. Just general things, also asked does she mind, and she replies no I can't wait if he gets it to have ago at the clay range. Now I've got it, she's wussed out and not been with me yet. I even bought her some 21 comp x to shoot.

Hope yours has all gone ok, most girlfriends and wives get the wrong impression of guns due to films and on the news and never actually seeing the genuine side, took my mrs to the clay range and sees that we have fun and a good afternoon with them, she's still a bit shy and hasn't had the courage to have a go either yet. She's good at hand/eye things so if she gets into it will probably beat me.
