Picked up a miruko mk 10 sporter from a dealer i know, used it twice up to now and find it a joy to shoot,it just feels right for me i also have a 525 sporter which is a tad lighter then the mk10 ,who ever owned the gun before me had not used it much as its tight to open, anyone have one what do you think?
  2. Done the deal will be picking the vitara when its had a service and mot, hopefully will serve me well.
  3. Test drove the susuki vitara today took it on the motor way and came back along b roads,it was avaraging 53.4 miles to the gallon with a 1.6 petrol engine and to b fair a joy to drive,so looks like the deal will b done, the salesman has the 1.4 boosterjet engine he reckons he gets about 40 out of his, proberbly better peformance but i want better mpg,its fast enough for me allright.
  4. I am going to test drive a susuki vitara tomorow, more money than i wanted to spend but a far better car.
  5. Decisions made will give it a wide berth, cheers guys.
  6. Slip of the finger it should say 1.2
  7. Thinking of changing my car to a nissan juke, its got better ride height then my hyundi i20,the one i have been looking at is a 1.2 litre petrol three pot engine, the reveiws i have been reading are mixed some say they are good on fuel others say they can be heavy,if anyone has the 1.2 litre any feed back would be appreciated.
  8. hi yes mine has two separate dove tails,i have found a pair of mounts that fit,so will put a scope on it when the work has been done,so assume its a early mk 2,i paid 20 quid for it.
  9. Thanks will have a look.
  10. I picked up a bsa air sporter mk 2 last weekend,it has had a bit of a hard life, but for a back garden plinker its fine, some previous owner had put in an ox spring, not my choice so replaced with a spare spring i had lying about, its pretty accurate out to about twenty five yards with iron sights i want to put a scope on it but the rails appear to be around twenty mill, anyone have one any info would be appreciated.
  11. I took it out today for a run about, and to be fair its pretty good, for a 1,2 engine its quite nippy really suprprised how well it drove,at the moment i like it,not going to win any races but its fine for my needs.
  12. I went for a 18 plate 1.2 se with 16 tho on the clock ,its early days but yes i like it,not going to win any races but its fine for me.
  13. I have been thinking of buying a hyundai i20 in 1.2 engine.had a go of a one last week at a main dealers and i found it had a flat spot just after taking off.had a look on line and its been a problem for owners for quite a while, any feed back would be appreciated.
  14. A mate of mine has a 425 browning elite grade 3 with 28 inch barrels,he has bought a 20 bore so no longer uses it,he said i can have it for 500 quid so had a go with it last week on the clays.i missed very little with it to be honest it just felt right for me.my renewel is going through at the moment so hopefully i will be able pick it up soon, still undecided about the gold e will see how things pan out with the browning.
  15. I have been toying with the idea of changing my gold e for a browning,i mentioned this to the guy at my local dealers and he pulled a face and said 32 inch barrels are out of favour at the moment, people prefering 30 inch,i must admit its news to me anyone heard of this in your nect of the woods?
  16. I have a bsa airsporter in 177.it shoots really well with field target trophy pellets, have tried crossmans, rws, eleys.and it does not like them at all just wondering what other pellets would be ok to try.
  17. I bought a raffaello about eighteen months ago brand new, paid just under fifteen hundred quid, from day one it gave me problems with cycling the second shot, spent hours stripping it down and cleaning it, put heavy loads through it made no difference,it went back to the importers and they replaced the lifter and another part, apparentley its a common fault, when i got back it was fine never had a problem till i part exed it for a wincester sx3 sporter, must have put two thousand cartriges though it with only one miss feed i also have a a armsan 612 which up to now has been as reliable as the sx3 for a third of the money,in my honest oppinion benellis are way over priced for what you get.
  18. The crown looks fine, the gun will shoot accurate with field target trophy, really wanted a pellet for plinking in the garden that wont break the bank.
  19. I have a airsporter s in 177,i have been trying to find a pellet that suits the barrel, super domes, crossman premiers, hobbys, wasp, dont suit,up to now field target trophy are the only ones that are accurate if anyone has a airsporter in 177 just wondering what what pellets you find to be accurate.
  20. I have a tasco 2.5x32 scope,it came with a airsporter i recently bought, its in good condition but the magnification isnt powerfull enough for me,just wondering if its worth much, its got made in japan on it so its one of the better ones, undecided wether to hold on to it or sell it.
  21. Its in the lap of the gods, just be honest when you fill in the application,it can depend on were you live,i live on the wirral and my authority is merseyside and they wont give an inch, apply and be honest with them good luck.
  22. I got it back a last friday, its had the buffer washer and o,ring replaced, its putting out 11.1 foot pounds at the moment, tried a few different pellets and it shoots quite well with superdomes at 25 yards, yes i agree its not super accurate but its fun to shoot,so will keep it just for that reason.
  23. The s model has the metal work nicely blued and a walnut stock, some had two stage triggers but mine has a single stage,it also has some checkering to the forend and pistol grip,i will do my best to up load some picks when i get it back.
  24. Picked up a bsa airsporter s in 177, the owner had died and the family wanted shut of his air rifles,it was seized up,would not cock,so a good soak in oil and got it to work, its in excellent condition, the blueing is like new, the stock is walnut with some type of varnish applied, having the o ring and buffer washer replaced, will be looking forward to shooting it when its done thanks to my mate len,not bad for eighty quid.
